Members of Wigan's Diploma implementation groups manned Diploma stands, held competitions, performed interactive events and answered learners questions. Staff were also on hand from Wigan's Connexions and EBP teams to help learners with their more general enquiries.
I demonstrated Wigan's new online prospectus to learners throughout the day and we were delighted to welcome Councillor Loudon to the event, who seemed very impressed by what she saw and spoke with a number of learners throughout the day.
I would like to thank all those who were involved in putting this event together and in particular those learners who turned up on the day to find out more about the Diplomas in Wigan.
